Fetal Medicine at the RVI

If you ask at your 20 week scan, most hospitals will be happy to try to reveal the sex of the baby for you.

If your hospital does not offer this service, or if the views are unclear, we offer a scan for this after 24 weeks.

Although ultrasound scans can never be 100% accurate in this regard, we have found it very helpful to show the gender of the baby in 4D to reduce any uncertainty to an absolute minimum.

Includes a15 minute appointment for scan and an image of the face in 3D whenever possible.
